Effects of Vitamin C Supplementation to Bovine Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells on Antioxidant and Inflammatory Biomarker Status and Cell Viability with or without Lipopolysaccharide Stimulation

چکیده

This study aimed to determine the effects of vitamin C supplementation on antioxidant and inflammatory status cell viability bovine peripheral blood mononuclear cells. Peripheral cells (PBMCs) were isolated from eighteen clinically healthy Japanese Black calves in this study. PBMCs cultured with (vitamin group) without (control stimulated or lipopolysaccharide (LPS). As a result, total capacities, which are reducing power components Fe3+ Fe 2+, culture supernatant LPS stimulation significantly higher group than those control (P < 0.05, P 0.01, respectively). Tumor necrosis factor-alpha was that 0.05). The after 72 h These results suggested is related anti-inflammatory properties obtained calves.

Evaluation of proliferation and cytokines production by mitogen-stimulated bovine peripheral blood mononuclear cells

This in vitro study was conducted to evaluate lymphocyte blastogenic and cytokine production by bovine peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs) stimulated with phytohemagglutinin (PHA), pokeweed mitogen (PWM) and concanavalin A (Con A) mitogens, by using tetrazolium salt and ELISA tests, respectively. The results presented that  Interleukin-2 (IL-2), IL-4, IL-5, IL-10, IL-17 and IFN-...

Secretome of Aggregated Embryonic Stem Cell-Derived Mesenchymal Stem Cell Modulates the Release of Inflammatory Factors in Lipopolysaccharide-Induced Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells

Background: Bone marrow mesenchymal stem cells (BM-MSCs) have emerged as a potential therapy for various inflammatory diseases. Because of some limitations, several recent studies have suggested the use of embryonic stem cell-derived MSCs (ESC-MSCs) as an alternative for BM-MSCs. Some of the therapeutic effects of the ESC-MSCs are related to the secretion of a broad array of cytokines and growt...

Comparing the Effects of Aloe Vera Leaf Extract On K562 Tumor Cell and Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells

Aims Aloe Vera is among the crucial medicinal plants, with proven anti-cancer effects. This study aimed to investigate the effect of plant extracts of Aloe Vera Leaf (AVL) on the proliferation of cell lines K562 (erythroleukemia) and Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells (PBMCs). Methods & Materials The inner parts of the plant, including the gelatinous substance, were emptied, and the outer laye...

Effect of Myeloma-Derived Microparticles on in Vitro Proliferation and Viability of Alloimmune Human Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells

Background: Microparticles (MPs) are small vesicles released from the cell membrane. Accordingly, these contain active molecules to mediate biological processes, including cell proliferation and cell cycle progression. The fusion of myeloma cell lines with immunized B lymphocytes is a critical step of hybridoma technology. MPs modulate lymphoproliferation, thereby facilitating B cell expansion ...

Conditioned Medium from Cultured Colorectal Cancer Cells Affects Peripheral Blood Mononuclear Cells Inflammatory Phenotype in Vitro

Background: Colorectal cancer (CRC) is the third most common cancer worldwide. Studies have indicated that immune cells and soluble factors play a key role in maintaining the balance between tumor-promoting inflammation and anti-tumor immunity. It has been shown that secreted cytokines from CRC cell lines could affect peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMCs), monocytes, and macrophages phenot...
